MONACO ART WEEK (MAW ) was created of the desire to unite Monaco’s cultural institutions by organizing events to showcase the Principality’s art scene.

The association was born in the spring of 2018, with a MAW art trail in galleries and auction houses, spread across different areas of the Principality: Condamine, Monte-Carlo and Larvotto. This format facilitates access to exhibitions, encouraging everyone to explore Monaco’s cultural landscape, while complementing a particularly dense cultural offering at this time of year.

The sixth edition of the MAW will take place from July 2 to 7, 2024, and will be punctuated by unique exhibitions and appointments with a dozen galleries and auction houses. Keeping with the association’s founding commitment to contemporary debate.

The Monaco Art Week association was born out of a desire to federate the galleries, auction houses and institutions present in the Principality, thus promoting Monaco as an unmissable art venue, and of course boosting the art market in the Principality.

For its 3rd edition, 14 galleries and auction houses are joining forces for a week to invite the public, collectors, professionals and art lovers to come together around an artistic journey. The originality of MONACO ART WEEK lies in the dialogue and resonance between the different periods of art: classical, modern and contemporary.

The MAW is unique in that it covers all periods of art history. Indeed, auction houses and galleries of ancient, modern and contemporary art have come together around a single criterion: quality. Each participant prepares an original exhibition for the event, highlighting his or her field and disciplines, artists and history. Go to Website
