From 13 September to 14 January, photographer Sebastião Salgado presents an exhibition at the Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa, designed to show the beauty and raise awareness of the fragility of the planet's main ecosystem. This project, which has captivated more than 1.4 million visitors worldwide, captures the grandeur of nature and its relationship with twelve indigenous communities in remote rainforest locations.
This exhibition is presented in an exhibition space of 1,000m2, in which the famous Brazilian photographer, Prince of Asturias Prize winner in 1998, presents a multi-sensory experience that enables visitors to immerse themselves in the exuberance and sounds of the forest through more than 200 large format photographs, seven films and a soundtrack especially created by the musician Jean-Michel Jarre.
